Who doesn’t like unicorns? 🦄🦄🦄 Every girl dreams of her own unicorn 😍 Discover this amazing crochet unicorn free pattern and bring some magic into your home 😊🌈🌈🌈
If you will use listed DK yarn and 2.5mm hook you will get height of the finished crochet unicorn approximately 42cm from top of the horn to the bottom. Admittedly, it’s not small crochet unicorn and it’s definitely worth of your attention 😮
For this project as main colour I used creamy Patons Fab DK yarn as I found this colour doesn’t get dirty so quick as white, but certainly it can be made in white or any other colours.
This pattern will be split in two parts to make it easier to read and load the page. In the first part we are going to make body, arms and heart, and in this part head and assembly. You can find first part for this pattern in here – crochet unicorn free pattern – part 1.

Ringlets
I made 7 ringlets of various colours, but you can use same colour for ringlets, you can make more or less than 7 as well.
Start with chain 51.
Row 1 (starting form ch 2): (inc) repeat 50 times [100]
Row 2: ch 1, sc in the same st, (inc, sc) repeat 49 times [150]
Finish off with sl st and leave tail for sewing.
Unicorn assembly
Step 1: attaching ears and horn to the head.
Use pins to place ears and horn to see how it will look. If needed amend ears and horn position.
Leave pins on the head to make it easier to locate position for attaching ears and horn.
Using tapestry needle attach ears and horn to the head. Horns needs some stuffing before attaching.
Horn is attached between rounds 29 and 36 centred between eyes and ears are attached approximately on rounds 37-38, 10-12 stitches apart:
Step 2: attach ringlets to the head.
Using Tapestry needle attach ringlets to the top of our unicorn head (in the gap between ears):
Step 3: attach head to the body.
Using tapestry needle and long tail what’s on the body attach head to the body. Make sure you stuff the body enough before attaching the head and closing it off, as it will help to avoid wobbly head. Head is attached approximately between rounds 27 and 37:
Step 4: attach heart to the body.
Using tapestry needle sew heart to middle of unicorn tummy:
Step 5: attach arms to the body.
Using tapestry needle attach arms to the body, approximately 3-4 stitches below the head:
Step 6: and final step – create a tail.
Cut about 14 pieces of yarn in 20 cm length, use same colours as you used for ringlets. Slip stitch all pieces of yarn to the back of our unicorn in the area where you would like tail to be:
