Finally I have finished my giant Peppa Pig crochet pattern and now I am going to share it with you!
This crochet Peppa Pig is amazing handmade present for little ones. I was working with 2.5mm crochet hook and final finished size of Peppa is 32cm (12.5 inches). Actually it was so hard for me to finish it as my baby was so excited about half finished Peppa Pig that she didn’t let it go and didn’t allow me to continue working on it. But we finally got there.
This is quite complicated project and that’s why I am going to divide it in 3 parts. Personally I think it will be much easier to read. Our Peppa Pig crochet pattern will be divided in these three parts:
- Part 1 – Crochet Peppa Pig head and face features
- Part 2 – Crochet Peppa Pig body
- Part 3 – Crochet Peppa Pig dress and body assembly

Crochet Peppa Pig Head assembly
Sew ears to the head at round 47-48, approximately 15 stitches apart. Stuff sightly before closing off.
Now we are going to attach eyes to the head. Firstly, sew pupils inside of whites as you can see on my picture below. Secondly, before attaching eyes to the head pass white yearn through black pupil in the middle:
And now we can start attaching eyes to the head. Sew eyes to the head approximately 5-6 rows below ears and approximately 17 stitches apart. Look into my picture below how my eyes look after attachment.
Next step will be sewing nostrils to the nose. Sew them to the center of the nose:
In the next step we are going to sew blush on both sides of our head and a few rows below our eyes:
And our final face feature will be a smile 😊 We are going to use red thread and embroider it like shown in the picture below:
That’s how our finished head should look now:
So, we have finished our head and we are ready to move to Part 2 of our project – body. Let’s go! 🙂
