Crochet hand warmers

Crochet hand warmers for cold mornings

What can be worse than cold hands in the winter morning! 🥶🥶🥶 Every morning I dream about heated steering wheel in my car. Unfortunately I can’t afford it so I decided to make some crochet hand warmers. 😊 And I hope this pattern will help to keep you warm as well.

I found this pattern on Raverly, so if you want to look at original pattern, you can find it here. But it wouldn’t be me if I wouldn’t amend it to my needs, and you will find my version of crochet hand warmers below.

If you find any mistakes in the pattern, please let me know, it will be really appreciated 😊😊😊

Materials you need:

Abbreviations:

SC – single crochet

CH – chain

ST – stitch

HDC – half double crochet

DC – double crochet

HDC INC – hald double crochet increase

SHELL – 3 dc, ch 1, 3 dc into same stitch

HDC V-STITCH – half double crochet, chain 1 and half double crochet in the same stitch

Base for our crochet hand warmers

Don’t forget to make 2 😉

Start with chain of 50 st, join with sl st into circle at the end. Our circle will consist of 50 st.

***P. S. Make sure this circle fits around your wrist and it is easy to slide it in and take it off before you continue to work. You may need to amend number of stitches to make it bigger or smaller. 50 stitches was ok for my chubby arms.***

Round 1: starting from ch 2, sc in the next 50 st, finish round with sl st into first sc of your round [50]

Round 2-16: ch 2, hdc in the same st, hdc in next all st, finish round with sl st into first hdc of your round [50]

Round 17: ch 2, hdc in the same st, hdc in next st, (hdc  inc, hdc in next 3 st) repeat 10 times, hdc in next 8 st, finish round with sl st into first hdc of your round [60]

Now our base for crochet hand warmers is complete:
