Use this free pattern to make your perfect crochet holly and complete it just in time for Christmas 🎄🎄🎄
What I like about this pattern that it doesn’t take long to crochet, but it looks like real flower at the end 😊
As usual, finished size of crochet holly will depend from yarn and hook you are going to use, but it is not very big project.
Watch the video below or follow the pattern and make this adorable crochet holly flower.

Leaf
Make 2 leaves out of green colour.
Begin with chain 10 and start crocheting from chain 2:
Round 1: hdc in next 2 st, htc in next st, tc in next st, 2 tc in next st, tc in next st, htc in next st, hdc in next 2 st, sl st in the same st.
After that turn around and start working on another side of your chain.
Ch 1 and repeat the same sequence. Finish round with sl st. – That’s round one complete.
In the round 2 we are going to work on the shape of our leaf.
Round 2: sl st in the next st, (dc, ch 2, now you need to make a slip stitch to form a Picot Point, so insert hook into second chain from hook and yarn over, pull yarn through stitch, then through the chain on your hook, complete Picot Point with dc in the same st as first dc, sl st in the next 2 st) repeat 7 times.
By now you should be at the end of your round. Make short stem to our leaf – ch 5 and sl st into 2nd chain from hook.
Finally, we’re going to complete the leaf by working a surface chain up the middle. Stick your hook into the base of the leaf, yarn over and pull a loop right through to the front of the leaf, then through the chain on your hook. Basically, sl st through the middle of your leaf from stem to the other end of your leaf.
You can see how our complete leaf should look on the picture below:
Berries
Make 3 berries out of red colour. You can stuff slightly if you want.
Round 1: make 6 sc in magic ring [6]
Round 2: (inc) repeat 6 times [12]
Round 3: keep decreasing till there’s nothing to decrease. Finish off with sl st and leave tail for sewing.
Assembly
Finally, only assembly left. Using tapestry needle assemble everything together as shown in the picture below:
